Shane: I built my student base up over a longtime using three main planks: genuine human contact including asking for referrals, various forms of social media and limited use of Google Ads, Facebook Ads or Facebook Events. In the past I also used posters, physical ads and from time to time I use short free lectures and presentations to help create interest. In a way this Podcast is a form of advertising, as it helps create some interest in my physical hands-on courses.
